How it works

Connect your own domain

You buy a domain from a provider such as IONOS, Strato, GoDaddy or Cloudflare. Larily doesn't sell domains, but connects yours to your page. A secure https certificate is included.

5 min

You need: From the Build plan. Your page has to be published already, and you need your own domain.

Step by step

  1. 01

    Open Publish

In the studio, tap “Online” or “Publish” at the top right. If the page isn't online yet, publish it first.

  2. 02

    Enter your domain

Tap “Connect your own domain”, enter your domain, for example www.your-company.com, and tap “Connect”.

  3. 03

Add the records at your provider

Larily shows you a small table with type, name and value. Open the DNS settings at your domain provider and add exactly these records. Tapping a value copies it.

  4. 04

    Check

Tap “Check now”. First it says “Waiting for DNS record”, then “Secure certificate being issued” and finally “Connected”.

Good to know

  • For www.your-company.com you need a CNAME record. For the domain without www (your-company.com) Larily shows you an A record and a CNAME for www.
  • New records usually work within a few minutes, sometimes it takes up to 24 hours. You can simply check again later.
  • Your page stays reachable at the Larily address as well.
  • A domain can only be connected to one project. “Disconnect domain” separates it again.
